Ob/Gyn physician; President and founder- Primary Technologies From July 1986 thru April 1997 I practiced in Dayton, Ohio as a solo practitioner, building one of the largest Ob/Gyn practices in town. I maintained privileges at three hospitals, was an Associate Professor at Wright State School of Medicine, was President of the local Medical Society, and was on the provider panels of every insurance program. Then the change came. There was an 80% penetration by managed care. I migrated from private to group practice and evolved from an employer to an employee. During the succeeding years I functioned as a practitioner in large groups: first in Georgetown, Ohio then in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania finally in Rockford, Illinois. I was appointed at the University of Illinois at Chicago, at the Rockford College of Medicine, as an Assistant Professor of Ob/Gyn. I was made the Medical Director of the Crusader Clinic where I coordinated and supervised several Physicians and Advanced Nurse Practitioners. I trained the Family Practice Residents and taught the Medical Students. I also served as a Clinician in both Obstetrics and Gynecology, attending many deliveries and surgeries. This was the pinnacle of my clinical career and lasted 4 years. Subsequently I have functioned as a Professor of Biology at Rock Valley Community College. I taught Nursing students in Anatomy and Physiology. Since then I temporarily maintained a clinical presence as an urgent care Physician here in Rockford. Presently I am the founder and president of an IT company. As of this writing, I am involved in clinical ventures episodically. I am a believer first, then I’m a Father, Husband, Son, Brother, Clinician and Partner. I’ve had a myriad of clinical, business, and life experiences from which I’ve learned a great deal. I’ve been blessed many times and enjoy sharing my perspectives. I’m committed to using my talents and experiences to serve.
